I generally have a good experience at almost any Subaru Dealership.
Most reps are soft spoken and not pushy. I just bought a 2012 Subaru
Impreza Sport from them and have to say that Russel (sales) and John the
sales manager were incredibly easy to deal with. Also there was a guy
who processed the paperwork (forgot his name sorry!) and he was
incredibly easy to deal with as well. I strongly suggest working with
Russel as well as John if you are going to Santa Monica Subaru as they
made my buying experience the easiest I have ever experienced. I have
bought many cars so this isn't an understatement. Thanks Guys!

I decided on the Forrester (2011) and picked the one with the navigation
package since I have directional issues. I hadn't previously worked
with the sales side, but their service was honest and Grade A. They
worked with me down to the exact color I wanted. I had done some
research before going in and they gave me a great deal at a very fair
price along with a good service package.
So far, it's been a very
fun car to drive. lt may sound hokey, but I really love how I don't
have to remember to turn off the headlights - and the seat heaters are
looovely.

After using Subaru of Santa Monica
last month to have my daughters '09 Forrester get a new air conditioner
(under warranty) and the great service dept experience I went on line
to http://Subaru.com
to look at local Subaru dealerships and their inventory. Subaru of
Santa Monica had the largest available inventory of Outback's that I
wanted to lease. I started communicating online with the
dealerships internet Director, John Marzy who was unbelievably
responsive and answered all my questions over a period of a week. We
even haggled about pricing. When we were ready to visit the
dealer we had already done the hard work. I had chosen 3 cars that had
the features that I wanted. Since most of their cars are located on
various lots they arranged to have the 3 cars available to see during
our appointment. John Marzy turned us over to salesman and
product expert Nick Pisano a charming young guy who was extremely
knowledgeable about the cars and their features. We test drove the car
that was number 1 on my list and we loved it. All I had to do was fill
out a credit application, and some other stuff and within less than 2
hours we drove off with our new car. While we were waiting for
the details to get completed, Nick and my husband had a long and fun
discussion about music. Even though Nick was scheduled to fly East for a
wedding in a few hours he took the time to set up the Bluetooth feature
with our Blackberry's. Kudos to this dealership, Nick Pisano and John Marzy for making the dreaded car purchase experience so pleasant and fun.

Best buying experience ever! We're from San Diego and it was well worth the drive up. We shopped our local dealerships, but were not happy. Got on the internet and searched southern California for the car we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. Subaru of Santa Monica had their best price listed on the web and this car had more features for less money then any of our local dealerships. Many thanks to Rosa, Edgar, Tk and Steve. Can't wait to get the survey from Subaru to tell them the same.

When I come in to get my car serviced, I have always been treated with
respect. They are easy to find (on Santa Monica Blvd), have parking on
the sides of their lot and I am greeted with a friendly hello when I
arrive. I have never been pressured into buying something I didn't
need. Just this last time I was told it was recommended that I start
thinking about new brake pads, but I certainly didn't need to get them
at that moment or even that month. I have been to other dealerships
where they take a look at me, think "aha! a girl who has no idea about
cars!" and then proceed to try to up-sale me on things that I even know I
don't need. I truly have appreciated the family values at this Subaru
and find that this is a pretty honest place.
