Performance
Under the hood, you can enjoy a peppy and efficient Subaru Boxer engine. All models come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that produces 152-horsepower and 145 pounds-feet of torque, all while achieving impressive fuel economy in the city and on the highway, allowing you to save at the pump during your travels around Redondo Beach.
The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). All models with a CVT also have paddle shifters, allowing you to take simulated manual control.
To help you enjoy greater confidence and freedom behind the wheel, all Impreza models come equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, offering optimal traction, control, and handling whether you're facing bad weather around Torrance, CA or you're taking your adventures off the beaten path when hiking or camping.
Design
Exterior
Two body styles are offered in the new Subaru Impreza lineup. The first is a four-door sedan and the other is a five-door hatchback. The two styles share most of the same features, with the Impreza hatchback offering raised roof rails on select models. Both styles are sleek and come with standard 16-inch wheels.
Interior
Inside the cabin, both the Impreza sedan and Impreza hatchback models come similarly equipped. The main difference between both styles is cargo space. The Impreza sedan offers 12.3 cubic feet of cargo space in the trunk. The Impreza hatchback models offer 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row of seating. If you fold down the second row of seats, you can utilize up to 55.3 cubic feet of maximum cargo space, helping you bring everyone and everything along for the ride.
Technology
You can easily stay connected and remain in full control on the go thanks to the standard Starlink multimedia system. The system comes displayed on either a standard 6.5-inch or available 8-inch touchscreen display and has standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to connect your smartphone device using a USB cord or Bluetooth and enjoy hands-free control of calls, apps, messages, music, maps, and much more either using the touchscreen or with steering-wheel-mounted voice commands.
Safety
If you choose a new Subaru Impreza model with a continuously variable automatic transmission, you'll also get to enjoy a standard Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system. The Eyesight system provides you with helpful driving aids, including pre-collision braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. Higher Impreza trim levels also come with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking, and other features that're designed to provide you with complete confidence on the go.
