The Subaru WRX STI model is iconic in style, performance, and in name, so when we heard that Subaru plans to unveil an electrified WRX STI model in 2028, we were very excited. The STI badge hasn’t been seen in the WRX lineup since the model was last redesigned, but it’s slated to make a comeback in a large way. We still aren’t sure whether the recently teased WRX EV will be fully electric or a plug-in hybrid powertrain, but what we do know is that it will impress at every level.
